I'm glad we didn't get the sliding door. |
House was all closed up - no door knobs but definitely felt "keep out" |
This blog is all about building a home with Ryan Homes and NVR. The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about the amazing journey of building our first home. This is hoped to be a honest collection of the process, pictures, questions, problems, and solutions throughout the entire process of building our very first home and the bliss of the after. And here we go! We're so very excited!! Please bear with me as I make continual improvements to this blog. :)

Love the patio doors! I hate how they swing inside the home (so you need clearance when placing a table), but I think it looks so much better than a slider.
ReplyDeleteI agree! The Door seems to add a bit of a sophistication
DeleteHey we got the same patio door! I love those doors!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to open it!
DeleteLooks great! It's nice that they put up a temporary door. The front door gets dirty and pretty banged up with everyone and everything coming in and out--it's good not to have to worry about it!
ReplyDeleteYeah, great thinking on Ryan Homes part!
DeleteThe patio doors are pretty. If you we didn't have dogs I would have chosen them but it is so easy to add a dog door panel to sliders.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense. I love my doggie, I can open the door for her though lol. I love the door!
DeleteIt was sure nice of them to put in a temporary one to keep the dirt and whatnot from coming in, as well as not damage the actual front door while they’re still puttering around. As for the patio doors, I’ve always been partial to the big glass rather than grids for the view. But I agree on the door vs. slider opinion; door beats slider for presentation. :)
