Our framing began today. Another HUGE thank you to my new neighborhood friend, Brittany!
Looks like they may have gotten the first floor started.
Here is where the metal sticking out of the concrete comes in, they attach the wood to it. |
Is it normal for the beams not to go all the way across? |
I wonder what the blue rolls are? |
I hate the stupid electrical boxes, those need hidden quick! |
I guess that guy was camera shy and covered his face. |
Framers are so messy! lol |
Thats so wonderful! And pretty fast! We are following your blog as we start the process & are currently waiting for building permits. How long were you expecting from foundation to framing?
ReplyDeleteI've seen it go up the next day after the forms comes off... but in our case it was 2.5 excruciating weeks. RH was having problems with the framers and fired the crew and had to get a new one.
Deletelooking good so far, it will be standing before you know it !
ReplyDeleteIt was so fast, I blinked and had a house!

DeleteLooks great! Normally they can build them in 3-4 days! It is so crazy fast.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that it takes so little time. But then again, it's half built before it gets to us.
DeleteIt is looking great! I cannot wait to see it continue! Great pictures, by the way!
