    I would have given anything to have a finished basement! They are SO expensive down here, AND you have to buy a sloping lot which is even more! The basement alone is $30k and that doesn't include it being finished. Your choices are awesome!

    We are building now too - I'm curious what was your incentive?

    They were going to give us 4500 off of finished basement or morning room -- we didn't do either so we got upgraded cabinets and closing costs.

    I am seeing a lot of people who got their morning room as their incentive - with you being on Ohio, I'm curious as to what yours was??

      Our incentive was more of a "home of the month" it included items vs a certain amount off. We lucked into it. Right place, right time.

      I live in Ohio we got either the morning room or a finsihed basement totaling $9995. We also got the $65 granite in the kitchen since it was the 65 year anniversay. IF we let NVR do our mortgage or run numbers we got an additional $6995. So we elected to add the morning room. Now they are only offering 6% towards your closing costs. Which is not a huge deal at all!
