Not a single word from NVRM since having to ask after over a month of silence when we might hear word if we were approved or not, only to be told they were sorry they didn't tell us sooner! You think they would be working for our business. Guess Not. Who knows what the official next step is, we didn't even get that information. Maybe we should shop around for another mortgage lender? How many of you changed your mind and went with another lender and why?
This blog is all about building a home with Ryan Homes and NVR. The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about the amazing journey of building our first home. This is hoped to be a honest collection of the process, pictures, questions, problems, and solutions throughout the entire process of building our very first home and the bliss of the after. And here we go! We're so very excited!! Please bear with me as I make continual improvements to this blog. :)

We are shopping around... we are not into our 60 days time fame yet. But our interaction with NVR LO so far has been far from satisfactory! The rates and closing costs they are quoting are just ridiculous. We decided to shop around and ask them to match the best quote we find. IF they work with us fine or else we definitely will go with other lender!
ReplyDeleteI have received better treatment from other lenders just by mere mention that I am interested in their bank. I'm just saying, I don't like feeling like they're doing us a favor... they're making money off of us and probably some pretty good money. It's not a very good feeling.
DeleteHave you decided to shop around or are you sticking with NVR?
ReplyDeleteI've been looking around, but so far we haven't decided. The rates are climbing :(
DeleteI know... I'm so nervous about what they will make the final monthly payment be... :(
ReplyDeleteI call NVRM every day now that we're getting closer to locking in. It's hard to juggle the incentives/credits vs interest rate. I'm still looking around at other options for us. I'm kind of annoyed with all of NVRM's fees.
DeleteIn other words, there is a high chance that a rare coin can be bought for lower than its actual value if found in a pawnshop. Where do you find such treasures and how do you chance upon a low priced yet valuable find. pawn shops for jewelry buying
